The current results show that the need for "light" of many species goes beyond "whether there is UVB"; however, when you check the relevant literature, you will also find that there are still many unknowns about how "light" affects the two crawlers. Since this aspect involves a lot of physics and biochemistry knowledge, it is impossible for me to introduce it to you in detail. But I can use my limited understanding to help you understand the lighting needs of reptiles step by step.
